Here are some pictures of a finished driveway project done by Vantage Drives and Patios in Chelmsford.
First, we cleared out the old hedging and dug out the existing driveway to really open the space up. Then we put a new foundation down together with a heavy-duty weed control membrane. We built two rows of new feather edge cap fencing with concrete posts on either side of the driveway. Our next step was to lay flat-top kerbing across the front and install a new doorstep using bull-nose kerbs and charcoal paving blocks. The same Marshall blocks were laid in a 45° pattern for the main paving, along with a brindle border.
