In this project, we started with the removal of the old driveway. Then we dug out the outlines for a new layout, including the driveway, pathway leading through the garden under an existing gazebo and a patio area on the other side of the garden.
We installed a new hardcore foundation with weed-control membrane sheeting. We laid the driveway, pathway and patio with charcoal block paving, with all the edges set in concrete. Other features in the project were treated sleepers, flower beds around the trees and a charcoal-slabbed greenhouse base.
