We removed the original, lopsided patio and levelled the area. Then we installed a new hardcore base on top of a heavy-duty membrane to prevent weed growth. We respected the thriving greenery and built the patio with that in mind. We laid the patio using Fossil Mint Indian sandstone in various sizes and included two recessed manhole covers.
