First, we took out the original old slabs. Then we laid down a new hardcore foundation with a sheeting underneath and compacted it down. We maintained the original layout, including some steps and a ramp. We laid the patio with Indian sandstone slabs in a shade of Fossil Mint and secured it with contrasting dark grout in between.
