First, we removed all the rubbish in the existing garden and dug out some old bushes and trees. Then we built new curved brick walling to create a raised seating area. We put down new, treated railway sleepers and levelled off the tiered area with fresh soil. We put down a new hardcore base on top of a heavy-duty weed-protective membrane. Then we laid the Indian sandstone slabbed patio in the desired design. Finally, we finished the project off by laying new roll-on turf over the designated area.
